What is a Google Business Profile?
The card that pops up when someone looks for a business on Google Maps or Google Search is your Google Business Profile. It is free and it belongs to you, but somebody has to fill it in and keep it current. Each part below is something we optimize.

Sample listing, not a real business
- 1
Name and category
The category decides which searches you appear in.
- 2
Stars and reviews
People check the rating, then the latest reviews, then whether you replied.
- 3
Photos
Real photos are what make people tap in.
- 4
Hours
One wrong entry sends a customer to a locked door, and a bad review follows.
- 5
Call / Book buttons
Customers call or book straight from here. That phone line can go to AI.
Why it needs optimizing
- ✓Local customers decide in seconds on Google Maps: rating, photos, open or closed, tap to call.
- ✓Google says local ranking depends on relevance, distance and prominence. Distance is fixed; relevance comes from categories and completeness, prominence from review count, rating and replies. Both can be worked on.
- ✓An incomplete or wrong profile loses the customer and can earn a "went there, it was closed" review.
What QQAI does
- ✓Profile creation from scratch.
- ✓Claiming help: existing but unmanaged profiles claimed and verified.
- ✓Profile optimization: category, services, description, photos, hours, phone, website.
- ✓Maps visibility: everything Google itself recommends, with no ranking promises.
- ✓Review management: new reviews watched, replies drafted, posted after your approval.
- ✓Ongoing maintenance: monthly checks, holiday hours, new photos, new reviews.
Everything follows Google’s guidelines. The profile stays yours; we work as a manager you can remove at any time.
How to check your own profile
Search your business name and city on Google Maps on your phone, then check:
- ✓Does it show up at all?
- ✓Does the card say "Claim this business"? Then nobody has claimed it.
- ✓Are the hours right, including holidays?
- ✓Is the primary category the most specific one?
- ✓Are the photos yours, or random customer shots?
- ✓Of the last five reviews, how many got a reply?
- ✓Do the phone and website buttons work?
How to create or claim it
- 1On a computer, open Google Maps and search your business name and city.
- 2If it exists: open it, choose "Claim this business", then "Manage now".
- 3If not: go to business.google.com/add, click "Add your business to Google", and enter name, category, address or service area, phone and website.
- 4Choose a verification method. Google decides which are offered: phone/SMS code, email, video recording, live video call, or postcard (up to 14 days).
- 5Complete verification. Review can take up to 5 business days; codes are valid for 30 days.
Checked against Google’s help pages in October 2026. Google’s interface changes; follow what the page shows.
Categories, services, photos, hours
- ✓Category: the most specific primary category that represents the core business; additional categories only for real other lines.
- ✓Services: list what you actually do, with short descriptions.
- ✓Photos: storefront, sign, interior, main products; real, clear, recent.
- ✓Hours: regular hours plus special hours for holidays, set in advance.
- ✓Description: up to 750 characters on who you are, what you do, where, and why you.
- ✓Attributes: parking, Wi-Fi, accessibility, payment methods.
Review management
You must be verified to reply. Open your profile from Google Search or Maps, choose "Read reviews", tap the reply icon, write and submit. Replies are public. Google checks replies against its content policies, usually within minutes, up to 30 days.
Thank the good ones, answer the bad ones: acknowledge, say what changed, invite them back. Reviews that break Google’s content policies can be reported; ordinary negative reviews cannot be deleted.
QQAI’s way: we draft the reply and text it to you with a translation; reply 1 to post, 2 to change.
What affects Maps visibility and ranking
Google names only three local ranking factors:
- ✓Relevance: how well the profile matches the search.
- ✓Distance: how far the business is from the searcher. Cannot be changed.
- ✓Prominence: how well known the business is, including review count and rating.
Google’s own words: nobody can request or pay for a better local ranking. Anyone promising "top 3 on Maps" is misleading you.

My business does not show on Google Maps. What now?+
Check whether the profile exists, whether it is claimed, and whether the name and address match. Or book the free check-up.
Can you guarantee top 3 on Maps?+
No. Google states nobody can pay for a better ranking. We guarantee a correct, complete, maintained profile.
